Construction Documents

No matter how great the vision, the follow-through and ability to communicate the design to contractors and vendors will make or break a project.  With our deep and vast experience of construction processes, we prepare some of the best drawings around.  At SMDA, we meticulously detail our Construction Documents (from plans to elevations to details and custom fixture drawings) to make sure the design vision comes to life while still being biddable and buildable.

Specifications

With extensive experience designing custom specification systems for multiple international design firms, we know how critically important specifications are to the final product.  We dig deep into the every detail, making sure the Purchasing Agents, General Contractors and other Consultants have what they need to make the process of construction smooth and easy. 

Construction Administration

We know and understand the process of construction and purchasing.  After completing hundreds of projects both large and small, we know this is where a project truly comes together.  We work closely with Purchasing Agents and Vendors to make sure everything looks beautiful and functions perfectly.  We work hand in hand with Consultants and General Contractors to deal with every issue immediately as they come up on site.  Our follow-through is second to none.

For our Residential clients, we take execution to the next level by providing purchasing services.  We make sure every detail is perfect before having it delivered and installed, creating the home of your dreams.

Project Management

At SMDA, we understand how each and every detail adds up to bring a project to life.  From the initial concept design through to the final product, our overall vision, creativity and detailed meticulous execution all come together to deliver an outstanding project.  We oversee the entire process from Concept Design to Construction Administration & Installation to on-going maintenance.  We have experience coordinating and overseeing every stage of a project from working with Consultants and team members to supervising the details with Contractors.
